AAA STUDIO DEBUT 080 BARCELONA FASHION WEEK
AAAAAA! I’ll never stop screaming with excitement remembering this collaboration. I developed the design and production of the rings for AAA Studio’s runway debut at the 35th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion Week. Four different models, including the brand’s logo iconic “A” and two chunky rings shaped like wrinkled silhouettes, echoing the textures seen in the collection’s looks. Pearl white, matte black, and smoky deep blue. It’s been an honor to work alongside Arnau Climent on this project.

“’BURdeNOUT’ represents the feeling shared by Gen Z when facing adult life. We've gone from a carefree childhood to having to sustain an adult life we often didn’t ask for. We've been taught to prioritize material success and career prospects over true vocation. We feel exhausted from not knowing how to handle it all, and it often feels like everything is too much for us. Still, we take what overwhelms us and try to shape it to fit our supposed limits.”

“The collection includes accessories like rings, caps, briefcases, and 3D-printed glasses. What role do these elements play in the narrative universe of the collection? Have there been any collaborations with other artists or collectives?

The rings were something I was absolutely sure I wanted to make. Together with emerging artist Laia Poy and her brand POYROS, we decided to create different rings that scream AAA Studio and have accompanied every look. They're made using resin 3D printing, which gives them that super soft finish.”
